Terms and conditions of your rental with Malapu**
We like to get things right, so here you can find ALL the important information for your trip, with no surprises and no hidden extras. If you have any unanswered questions, text us and we will be happy to answer them.
Covid19
If during the 15 days prior to the booking a traffic restriction is officially declared, you will be entitled to a change of date or a full refund of the booking amount.
We clean and disinfect each motorhome before delivery, using cleaning alcohol and specific products.
Textile materials (mattresses, upholstery, curtains…) are disinfected with a steam cleaner.
The kitchenware is cleaned in a dishwasher at 60°.
We use ozone machines for the total disinfection of our motorhomes.

Included Services
You can relax, because your rental includes:
- Fully comprehensive insurance with an excess of 750€
- 24/7 roadside assistance
- Telephone assistance
- Unlimited mileage for rentals of more than 7 days (for shorter rentals, 450km maximum per day, with excess charged extra)
Equipment included
All equipment we include for your trip must be returned in the same condition.
- Complete kitchen equipment: crockery, cutlery, frying pan, saucepan, colander, salad bowl, corkscrew/bottle opener, chopping board, dish drainer, waste paper basket
- Cleaning set: cloth, scourer, dishwasher, broom, dustpan, rubbish bags and courtesy toilet roll
- Blue toilet liquid
- 10 m hose and cable for external connection
- Parking wedges
- Sealed butane cylinder
- Tanks: Full diesel and water tanks and empty grey and black water tanks to be returned in the same condition*
*A financial penalty will be applied if the tanks are not returned as they were delivered (see amounts in the contract)
Insurance, assistance, booking and cancellations
Insurance and assistance:
The driver must be over 25 years old and have a driving licence type B2 with at least 2 years of experience. It is compulsory to present the driving licence of all potential drivers.
The rental includes comprehensive insurance with an excess of 750€ per claim.
At each delivery, the motorhome will be inspected together with the client to check for any previous damage.
Should any damage occur during the term of the rental contract, the hirer must notify us within 24 hours and bear any costs arising from the damage.
In the event of a claim, the driver shall only be liable for damages up to the amount of the excess. If a third party is at fault and the report is duly signed by both parties, the insurance will cover the costs in full.
Smoking inside the motorhome is strictly forbidden, non-compliance will be penalised with 50% of the amount of the deposit.
Reservation and Deposit
In order to make a reservation, 50% of the total amount of the rental must be paid. The other 50% will be paid at the time of delivery of the vehicle in the chosen form of payment.
On delivery of the vehicle, the 750 € deposit will be blocked on the credit/debit card provided and will be released upon return after verification and within a maximum period of 7 days.
Cancellations
A refund is possible for cancellations notified more than 30 days in advance.
For cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the reservation, a voucher for the same amount of the reservation can be redeemed within one year of the original day of the reservation.
Failure of the client to appear at the place and time agreed for the start of the service will be considered as the unilateral termination of the contract and cancellation of the booking.
The hirer shall not be entitled to claim compensation if, due to force majeure, the vehicle cannot be delivered on the agreed day. Force majeure is understood to be a breakdown or damage that cannot be repaired by the scheduled delivery date.
Minimum Booking and Seasonal Calendar
Delivery and return
We deliver you your motorhome and keys on the first day from 10 am and you return it to us on the last day at 7.30 pm.
In Mid and Low Season, you can hire half days and we will deliver the vehicle from 15h and you will return it to us between 9h and 11h.
Any delay of more than 60 minutes is charged at 50€/hour.
In the event of any unforeseen accident preventing the continuation of your holiday, the contract is terminated immediately, so there is no refund of the amount paid or the remaining rental days.
Any unused rental period will not be reimbursed.
We reserve the right to change the rented vehicle for another vehicle of the same category, superior or more modern up to the day of delivery.
Cleaning
Your motorhome is delivered clean inside and out, the textiles (mattresses, upholstery, curtains…) are disinfected with a steam cleaner and the kitchenware in a dishwasher at 60º.
For this reason, 35€ per booking will be charged to ensure that everything is sparkling clean and sanitised.
Pets
Dogs are welcome! However, only one dog under 10kg per motorhome is allowed and the final cleaning will have an extra charge of 20€.
